Kristin Knight Promoted to Loan Documentation Imaging Manager
Our new Loan Documentation Imaging Manager, Kristin Knight, has lived in Phoenix her whole life, and now she’s raising her three-year old son here too. And she’s not exactly new to The Biltmore Bank of Arizona. She just earned a promotion and a move into loan operations from her former Client Service Officer position!
Kristin was perfectly happy rising through the ranks as a private banker at an international bank with offices in our city, but she caught our attention several years ago, and we were able to lure her away.
“I love that I now interact with the people at the bank who are making the decisions,” says Kristin. “Biltmore gave me that opportunity, and I also gained a voice in the process of how our bank runs and conducts business.”
In her new role as Loan Documentation Imaging Manager, Kristin makes sure loan paperwork created for all 14 bank offices that are part of Grandpoint Bank (The Biltmore Bank of Arizona is a division of Grandpoint Bank) gets scanned into the bank’s loan imaging system. She also helps to ensure that the paperwork is error and omission free so that the banks can process and retrieve customers’ loan requests quickly and efficiently. In order to accomplish this, Kristin works with a team of loan administrators, underwriters and auditors.

Kristin understands this well. She has worked as a teller as well as managing a teller line, where she had day-to-day interaction with clients and learned about their businesses and personal goals.
In fact, one of the things Kristin likes most about her job and her career path thus far is the opportunity to learn new skills. Before joining the loan operations department, Kristin had worked on the deposit operations side of banking. As such, she brings a wealth of knowledge about the deposit and client relations side of banking as well.
“This is one of the great aspects of a career in banking,” she says. “We have so many opportunities to take on different roles throughout our industry; you don’t have to stay in one position.”
